Joining the TEDx Yaoundé volunteer team is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an inspiring event while developing valuable skills and connections. To ensure the event runs smoothly, we ask all volunteers to meet the following requirements:
1. Availability
• Volunteers must be available on April 19, 2025 (event day).
• Attendance at pre-event training and preparation sessions in the weeks leading up to the event is mandatory. These sessions will be scheduled in advance to accommodate participants.
2. Commitment
• Volunteers should be proactive, reliable, and ready to dedicate the required time to ensure the event’s success.
• Participation in assigned tasks and responsibilities, both before and during the event, is essential.
3. Skills and Responsibilities
Volunteers will be assigned roles based on their skills and interests. Some of the key areas include:
• Event Logistics: Assisting with setup, signage, and operational tasks.
• Guest Support: Welcoming attendees, managing registration, and ensuring a smooth experience.
• Marketing and Promotion: Supporting online and offline event promotion.
• Technical Support: Helping with audio, video, or presentation equipment.
